You guys ever feel alone?
I just moved back into school, and I feel so out of place here. No one here, absolutly no one understand my lifestyle with bodybuilding, and are completly oblivious to what I do. It seems like I'm singled out with no one (besides you guys on this site) that actually understands me and i dunno i guess im just going through a depression spout. i think it may be this weather, i havnt seen the sun for 5 days or so, and its nothing but cold and rainy.
i just moved back from Florida 4 weeks ago, and maybe its just that I really miss my friends from down there and miss the lifestyle I had down there. I dunno anyways.
here, thanks for reading.

find the biggest dude at your gym ask him if he needs a training partner, motivation and a training parter.
or
do the complete oppisite, take the newbie under your wing and help him out either way, you'll get a new partner

I know what you mean SVT. Some days I interact with lots of people on campus but still feel isolated. Being a few years older than the average student my mindset is quite different which sets me apart from the crowd. With family and life long friends elsewhere it gets lonely fast. Best thing for me is to keep busy and concentrate on counting down the days left until the next semester. Be proud of who you are and what you’re about. Different is much better than being lost in a crowd of the same and if they don’t like it F’em.

you definitely aren't the only one, i've sat around and pondered this as well. constantly wondering, why doesn't my gf understand, why can't my partners get the attitude i want them to have....but just to let you know, you aren't alone.

Man, I'm looking outside, and there is not a cloud in the sky.
Don't worry, SVT. I'm sure you'll meet some nice people soon, and probably hook up with a nice chickee. Until then, and after that, you will have us on here to shoot the sh*t with.

Just got to chill out and not take the whole thing personal. It's not like you're being the direct target of loneliness, its just something you're feeling. I've felt it, you're feeling it, and a lot of other people have and are feeling it too. It's just you dont hear people go, "*sigh* im so lonely". It's perfectly normal, sort of like puberty. Nothing wrong with feeling lonely mkay? :P
Now who wants a hug? C'mooooon

Yea, the student center is good place to meet new people. You can play pool if you like it or ask some hottie to teach you

I have been like that since I moved from my hometown.
I would go totaly nuts if it wasnt for my girl(and thats pretty harsh anyway since its a long distance relationship). I basicly dont hang out with anyone at all nowdays. The people in my classes I just dont have anything in comon with.
I dont party at all, in the gym I go in, do my thing and get out. Workout partner is out of the question cause everyone is stuck with the routines they found in flex mag and I constantly tweak things around.
So I have been pretty much a lonewolf since highschool ended 2,5 years ago. Miss my old friends alot.

It happens but thats what makes us unique. I live by a small list of things that most people cant understand but I'll never sell out even if I'm looked at as a weirdo but you just stick to your guns and the results will be your reward.

I moved back 'home' from school last year. I my good buddies left here for school in other parts as well. The only remaining couple friends do their own thing and i dont see them much and they have changed too. My good friends and my big gym buddies are still at school. I had to move to get the program i want. Luckily I met a great girl that i met soon after i got back. Things will look up, they find a way of doing so. But i know what you mean about doing what we do. All my good gym buddies who were just as into bodybuilding arent around and it sucks. My advice bro, is get a job at a restaraunt lounge or bar or night club near your school and you'll meet some fun people. I did that and it was the best thing i ever did.
