one thing thats helped me in the past is to always have a sharp razor and i use those oxy pads right after i shave. stings like a mofo but keeps the burn away.

avoid razor burn by : sharp new razor each time you shave, use a good shave cream, after shave is a good choice but also shave slow.

Gilette just came out with a new razor its called the fusion- available at cvs

I use a Electic shaver for my Face and Chin area, but i can't use a razor or a Electric razor on the front of my neck i use hair clippers, and i avoid all razor burn from doing it this way.

Yeah don't use a Electric Razor on your balls either......BURNS.

Hightime Bumpstopper 2. Works great for razor bumps and burn. You can buy it over the counter at any drugstore.

I use an electric shaver and have ZERO problems. I absolutely hate the feeling of a smooth face after shaving with a razor. Dont know y, just hate it. Its like the feeling of rubbing corn starch between your fingers. Try it sometime!

I use an electric Norelco (top of the line one) for under the chin and left/right sides, an electric square razor to shape/cut the 'stache and beard, lines, etc., then in the shower I use an M3 with shaving cream to get the sideburns and down and the jaw line area.

    Skin is crystal clear.

I use a straight edge, nothing feels better to me, also i feel as though its cleaner because there is no gunk and shit stuck in between any blades etc. I also use cold cold water when i shave and it feels more refreshing and keeps pores closed so no dirt gets in. I splash my face with cold water when Im done and pat it dry, i never rub my face just pat it with a clean soft towel. Then I put on an aftershave and I never have any problems, althought i used to years ago when using other razors.

i use edge shaving gel in the purple can

wet your face..put it on and brush your teeth while you are waiting for it to soak in so if softens up your face

have a very fresh razor and when you go to rinse the hair from your blade dont run it on the front of the blade as it will dull them or just rinse it off in a full sink of water

I use Schick Xtreme3. I shave after I shower with an electric on my face and try to use it as much as possible on my neck. Then I get the Schick and finish up my neck. Then I was it again in hot soap and water. I rinse using cold. Then I pat dry. I live in the desert, so I have to use hand loation for extra dry skin after. This regimen suits me well.

Shaving is like an art form and everyone is different. I can get burn on one side of my meck if I'm not careful. The M3 with some good shaving cream is the way to go. My electric razor chews up my neck to no end. I read somewhere that leaving your razor sit in a glass of rubbing alcohol will keep it from getting dull. Also shaving in the shower helps me alot.

Not even close (pun intended). It's a different look, think of the dif between a shaved head and a close crew cut.

I used to get it in those same areas...I stopped tilting my head back when I shaved under my chin and jaw-line...I had the habit of doing that..dont know why.I shave after a shower, and it softens the whiskers. I changed razor baldes EOD..they are expensive but I hate razor burn!

I get it bad also, what works sometimes for me is Mach3 razor, use it for atleast 6 weeks shaving down with Nivea senstive gel. I dont have to much hair on face so I get away with 1 razor for awhile.

Google it, some stores sell it .But I buy it online, the bottles last long, and are around 20 bucks. Put it on a towel or pad and use it right after you shower on your, face, chest etc. Stings a bit, but next day you are baby soft. Check the AR spa for more info on it aswell.
