What's the most assinine thing you've heard someone say lately
Someone actually said to me that alot of the pro's use cocaine to rip down before a comp. Now I don't know much about competitions but that sounds pretty stupid to me. Maybe it has happened I don't know but I didn't even know how to argue with this guy. I think it's kinda scary actually to think about a 300 pound bodybuilder all strung out on coke.

it is an amazing appetite suppresant, and i know myself of one of the top BB to come out of my province in Canada who used it religiously as an appatite suppresant.

I went to the wake of a beautiful 6 year old girl who was tragically killed here on Long Island when her golden retriever "jesse" pulled at her scarf affixiating her. I heard someone say that she is "in a better place." Atheists don't like cliche's like that. I felt like saying, "yeah, 6 feet under with the maggots...how reassuring. Can you think of something original to say or must it always be a hackneyed meaningless statement." Life and people really piss me off sometimes!

I am an atheist. I can see why you'd say that. Statistically, I'm in the minority.

I'm not saying that her statement has anything to do with me. I'm just telling you how I feel when I hear a cliche, especially a Christian one. I also disagree that the statement was necesarily was "for the girl." Maybe the statement was just for herself. Who's to say?

hard to tell who its for, but about the only thing i think that might be worse than dying, it sitting there staring at your lil girl... if those words give her comfort, she needs them and should have them. god or no god, anything to help someone in that case or situation id say...or do

I agree. I hope it did bring her comfort. I really regret going actually. Every morning I get up with this feeling like I've been punched in the gut. It really gets to me. I didn't know her, other than meeting her once with the mom, the mom is a cutie too. I work with the father. It's sad. I know it would kill me.

Religon is a subject that shouldn't be discussed in open forums you get to many views and "having your on opinion about something is valid. You have free will to do that." I'm not going to tell you what you should or shouldn't belive in. That's on you and when you die or pass away to a better place.
I went to seminary and dropped out because I wasn't called but was following what I thought was what everyone at the time was wanting me to do. I mean hell I know skinheads who were super white supreme until something happend and now they are ghetto thugs, language culture and everything they ever hated is what they are. I would bet, not that we could actually prove it but most atheist are deeply thinking "hope to hell if there is one, I don't go there" on their death bed.Last edited by kaorialfred; 02-05-2006 at 08:26 PM.

The most assisnine thing i've heard to date was in a thread in the steroid forum.
A member was asking about cutting..
He wanted to do a test cycle 500mg.. he asked if it was realistic to expect to lose 20 lbs of fat in the 12 weeks he's on.
Standard answer would be: "yes if all conditions are correct"
The reply he got instead?
"No.. test does not burn fat.. you're better off getting some clen and ECA"
What pot of crock.
Test burns fat.. no ifs ands or buts about it.
The higher the adrogenicity of a compound... bah.. forget it.
/off rant

...self-righteous and usually authoritarean personalities...not for me. I lean to the left.

So just keep it in perspective like NewKid say.
My fathers side of the family has : Southern Baptist, Pentacostal, Presbeterain, African Methodist, Methodist pastors and Bishops. So trust me when I say this its not all the same and they certainly don't worship or live the same. Each group has something diffrent or lives diffrently in the way they worship.
