    Super Bowl Sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF is up with the REFF's this game?! Did you guys NOT see all of the calls were to the Steelers? The Pass interference call.... The pylon being kicked, the offsides calls NOT being made, The touch down that wasnt! Thats just the beginning....

I wonder why the fukn reff's didnt suit up and play with the Steelers!

    UGH!!!

I didnt care for either team to win... BUT... This is for the REFF's and for the way the super bowl was run this year----------> Not the super bowl that Seattle deserved!

When roth, went in for the touch down sneek... did you see the line judge? It looked like he was waiting for any reason to GIVE him the TD. It was like he made the call before he even got close....

so seattle deserved that super bowl, eh?

    1) They gave up the longest run from scrimmage in the history of the NFL

    2) They left the Steelers #1 wide receiver for, what, 6 years now? Left him WIDE OPEN on 3rd and 28. Correct me if I'm wrong, but...3rd and 28...that's a passing down, right? yeah. Might want to cover their best receiver.

    3) They left the Steelers #1 wide receiver for, what, 6 years now! Left him WIDE OPEN in single coverage with a rookie, which resulted in 6. Hurmmm...I guess leaving him wide open the first time worked so well, they did it again.

    4) Jeramy Stevens, all by his lonesome dropped 4 passes which would have been first downs. FOUR. That's 4 drives that ended in punts because he has hands of granite.

    5) Someone explain to me the Seahawks idea of "clock management". Seriously. I have to know this one. Someone? Anyone?

    6) The "kicked pylon" resulted from Jackson making 1 of his 3 inexperienced plays during the game which negated TDs. You can blame the refs all you want, but they made the right calls.

    7) Someone needs to tell Sean Locklear that, even though he is an offensive "tackle", he shouldn't take his name so seriously. Someone might want to tell him that you can't grab a guy's shoulder pad as he blows by you on the rush, they'll call holding. It happened to him.

    twice.

Now then, let's be real for a second here. Roeth had the TD before he ever landed. Yeah, he pushed the ball across afterward, but the ball doesn't have to land on the ground, just has to break the plane. Seems people forget that, and ignored the fact that the ball crossed the line before he came down. Whatever.

And the offensive pass interference is pretty cut and dry. You can't touch people with your hands when you go up for the ball. You can use your body to maneuver and block the opponent as you go up (What Hines Ward did on the first long catch), but if you use your hands, you get called. An experienced receiver knows that. If the ball gets thrown to Jurivicus, that is a TD, because Jur wouldn't have used his hand, he would've used his body. I mean, Hope is, what, 5'10? WTF you gonna put your hand on him for? He's a midget!

So anyway, let's pretend for a second that BOTH of those calls go Seattle's way.

Guess what? Steelers 17, Seattle 14. Same result, just a closer score. Sowwy.

P.S. The TD that Seattle DID score? They scored on an illegal pick that didn't get called. Keep blaming the refs.

Good game Seattle, I look forward to next year's Super Bowl rematch!

i dont think the seahawks deserved it at all..pitts all the way no doubt, they played a way better game. the bus was pretty good, ben wasnt't defence was top notch for the most part...just a sloppy game. but let's give credit where its due...beating the three best teams, on the road..then going to the superbowl and winning...excellent job

Im not even reading that long post... (because Im not trying to argue) EVEN ESPN sports center said the reffs sucked.

Like I said.. I could care less who won, but it was obvious to most that were impartial to the winner that the reffs blew a good game.

no the best play ever made was ben....a few games earlier to keep them in the playoff race..after the interception is thrown..he tackled that guy......that was the turn around for the steelers. (not in the sb)

I know why the Seahawks lost, they had two quebecers in their team, we are a malediction at the Super Bowl

Chargers had DB Mark Montreuil, they lost
Ram with OL Tom Nutten, they lost
Panthers with Deitan Dubuc, they lost
and now the SH with JP Darche and Alain Kashama

it is easy dont let them on your team

Anyone who said they saw ben make that TD needs to have their eyes checked.. Usualy from one angle or another you can debate but at EVERY angle there was NO doubt he didnt get in. The call on hasslebeck.. dont get me started on that.. the game was rediculas..

o well whats done is done the best was today on around the horn some dude was saying yea there were some bad calls but lets not forget the call they gave seattle on the hasselback fumble. Since they touched him and his arm hit the ground it should have been a fumble they gave it to them. Now I thinking what about the return when randel el jumped up got hit and his arm hit the ground knocking the ball lose but was called dead gave them the callthe same thing happened in denver someone hit wille parker his arm hit the ground ball came out ruled down the same thing but whatever. I've only talked to a couple steeler fans who admit they got some help theyre not complaining but they knew what was going down

even if he didnt get in im sure they would have gotten it on the next play even if it was 4th I mean an inch and the steelers no problem, but the other calls were crap the game was so pumped for them to win if they didnt chaos would have broke out

I didn't watch much of it but somehow always came in at the exact right moments to see the highlight plays, which rocked. I think, for that reason, that the hero of the game was me.

the cool thing was seattle wsnt bitching about the calls but how poor they played I mean 5 dropped passes that lead to punts or missed feild goal not in the NFL and not in the super bowl while making more money in one year than ill make ever.

They were deff. profesional about the loss. They did make some very poor plays as well...(dont get me wrong). Either way, I thought the media would talk about this more. In every commercial, interview, sports clip, etc... its like Steelers were EXPECTED to win and if they didnt... I wonder what would have been said.

Here's what Holmgren had to say..

"We knew it was going to be tough going up against the Pittsburgh Steelers," Holmgren told the fans at Qwest Field. "I didn't know we were going to have to play the guys in the striped shirts as well."
I wonder what the fine will be for that.

I agree...the superbowl was particularly lame this year. I didn't even watch the entire thing. They should've just shown the rose bowl again.

yea hell get fined but he has every right to bitch I mean they said that almost every play in the NFL someone could get called for holding b/c a little bit goes on here and there but only seattle got flagged up for like a finger wrapping around a jersey. Hell the seattle line could have all ran the other way and let hasselback throw to a wide open guy and they still would call something
