    Went Rock Climbing....

Wow, what a bicep/forearm workout. there is this really cool indoor climbing facility with a ton of walls about, 65-70 feet high with difficulty obviously changing.
it was my first time, and my 2 expierenced climber friends i went with couldnt believ i could make it up the 5.9 difficulty (it goes from 5.3-5.13....'climbers termonology') i just used brute arm strength to pull myself up, they were impressed haha but damn my forearms are tired!

so yall ever looking for a new version of cardio/arm exercise, try rock climbing!

when i was 15-18 i competed amauterly up and down the east coast. i was sponsered by earth treks indoor gym in maryland. its the largest indoor gym on the east coast. the trick to rock climbing is not your arms... its your legs. dont pull yourself up. cuz like you experience you get one hell of a burn and will regret it later. but push with your legs and just keep yourself on the wall with your arms. there are alot of great gyms in PA. The Climbnasium in Mechanicsburg, Cliffhangers in Reading and a bunch more all across the state. I think this summer i am going to take it up again and see if i can get back onto the sponsership.. ship lol

rock climbing is fun for sure, especially the indoor rock climbing, cause there is always an easy way to get up, which wouldn't necessarily be true if you were climbing real rock. ive gone once, but i loved it... im like you bro, i had no training in it at all, but i was really good at it cause of all the lat pulldowns and curls ive been doing. when i was there i saw some dude that obviously didn't work out as much as he should, cause he couldn't get passed one spot... he chilled there struglin to get up but he couldn't... i wanted to laugh at him, but i held back.

rockclimbing is hard for us bodybuilders.

first of all we weigh TOO much. good rockclimbers are 5-8 little guys with good definition that weigh 170lbs.

We train with weights totally different to achieve mass and definition.

    I bet I would suck ass rockclimbing at 6-4 235 at 8%bodyfat.

be sure to use your legs as much as you can, dont try doing "pull ups", you'll get tired to quickly on longer climbs

    have you fallen yet?

that's awesome, falling (naturally) is a good way to be comfortable with the safety system & your spotter
