that test is a bitch just remember think that yo are training a 70 yr old man while your takeing it because ACE bases all there shit on BS IMO, if someone didnt know jacke shit about training and read and passed the ACE test and you asked them " how do i get my hamstrings stronger or to grown they couldnt tell ya" ACE and NASM are more like Nuresing certs IMO, there are many other certs i would rather go with

..thank you for that lovely version of inspiration, but in reality, gyms and people do not wanna hear you have a certification that is based more on your personal favorite section of health and fitness, but rather a reliable named certification that shows you kmow what your doing.....such as ACE or NASM

exactly like i said before NASM, ACE yeah sure there accredible by NCCA i think but other certs are accredited as well by IHRSA, each cert kinda focuse's on something a little diffrent than the next one, for example, ISSA is geared more towards power lifting, NASM, ACE are the Nurseing certs, AFPA, IFPA, more body building, and yes your right if you work for a health club that is a Corprate location and not a Franchises, like 24 or Golds that prefer NASM or ACE because they own NASM, then yes that would be the way to go, but if your independent or working for a healthclub that dosnt care " some dont " then i whould deff go with something eles,


I have both the NASM and ACE book and they mention hypertrophy but its mostly for training the avrage 60 yearold, all about HR, stroke volume, stretching, blah blah blah, theyre is no mention in those books about doing specifice exercises to grow. like i said before if i didnt know damn ting about training but i read ACE or NASM and passed the test and got a job in a health club and my first client wanted to put on muscle mass i wouldnt know what to tell him and thats no lie.

Damn right.

That's the way I've always looked at it when remembering what I do for a living and how people look to me for guidance.

You have some "other" Internet trainers who never show pics and you'll never see them, saying that pictures don't matter, intelligence does, blah blah...an excuse to hide because they look nothing like the part of a trainer/person giving out DIET advice. No one is going to get to know your intelligence until they come to you for assistance. Most, if not all, are drawn by PHYSICAL appearance first/foremost, above just words on a page.
