    Books on Bodybuilding

i really enjoy reading(yes, i already know im a dork) but there seems to be one hell of a shortage of useful pertinent information on bodybuilding/nutrition in a convential bookstore. hell, actually a shortage of anything besides crap. i know nark has mentioned at least one he is reading, the rest of you please post up any good reads.

and god help you if you reply with arnolds encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding.

That's a good question. I have a thread with this question too and no one really responded. I want to check out "extreme muscle enhancement" often cited in Muscular Development. I'd also like to check out Llewel's book "Building the perfect beast." Just for a kick I got an old copy of Duchaines underground steroid book but that's pretty outdated stuff - it's more a collector's item. You'll never find these type of books at a conventional bookstore of course. Most of the info can be found in the magazines.

arnolds? its really not that badly out dated cause it mostly explains excercises, but it is more like a picture book.

well you could always find books about stuff you can apply to bodybuilding. If your not afraid of getting a headached textbooks in Physiology, nutrition and stuff like that is good I guess. But not exactly fun relaxing reading

I think that's directed at me. It's somewhat informative but I'm a bit critical of the information. I don't think it's a fair and balanced resource. Furthermore, it was written in the early 80's I think. There's so much more information and research out there since that work. That's what I meant.
