Show on Gregg Valentino, the man with the insane sized arms due to synthol use...although so far all I hear is 'steroids ' and no synthol.

Well I caught it about 30 mins in and they barely talked about him, it just went into a whole 'don't do steroids ' commerical. I'm assuming the first half of the show will discuss more about Valentino and his freakish arms.

you know.. I sorta agree with you... Ill bet he didnt realize just how many people would be turned off about those cuz they dont look like quality muscle...When in fact most of us actually do look close enough to tell the difference....I would be curious to know if he actually, seriously thinks he looks like Coleman or something..Maybe I'll watch that show tonight to find out and see if he does or not..that aspect of it could be interesting....

The funny thing is, Valentino doesn't pull punches about anything...he's pretty straight forward about all the crap he's done in his life, but he categorically denies ever using Synthol. Says it's the result of just prop and equipose. Sure Gregg, whatever you say boss.

I just saw the show, it was a unillateral, narrow minded and uneducated documentary on how steroid "abusers" ruined their lives.
It was basically a steroid bashing-fest with the added made-for-tv drama!

It's surprizing and at the same time ignorant as phuck that a channel as informative and educational as TLC would do such a weak, uninformative show on steroids . I should have known by just seeing this clown Valentino on there with his syntholized arms , that it was a circus from the begining. And PHUCK SYNTHOL....the only wonders it does is make everyone wonder how your a$$ is so big and yet so damn WEAK. It's pathetic that most of the peeps watching this show will now think steroids can do this to your body, along with that other old ass man talking sh!t about from the first drop of juice, you are contaminated for life. If they were gonna get into all this , lets do it right then. Where are the doctors and scientists that research anti aging and hormone therapy, and where are the "other" old school body builders at? Lets bring everybody into the mix and let the people see the whole side of things.

Thats the problem, Steroids in sports is sooo Taboo...nobody likes talking about because they will be judged, I wouldn't come out with it. People have no other choice but to believe the media, give the people what they like to hear.

Powerlifting, Body building and Strongman is all frowned upon, because of this. If people really knew the amount of users out there, they'd have a whole new outlook.

What about Lance Armstrong taking EPO?

After watching it, i feel as if i have just sat through a "Dont take Steroids " seminar. Damn all it was, was just former users saying how messed up their lives are now after taking roids so many years ago. Ive seen in a magazine how Gregg used to look before he decided to use synthol. He looked no where near the way he looks now. WHat possessed him to inject so much synthol and other stuff, i beyond belief

That is why its called "The Learning Channel" so that lazy morons without a life can sit and "learn". This begs the question of the quality in other "learning episodes" this channel produces, surely if they let this rot through, the rest can't be much better either.
