bad form most deff !!! i see dudes doing squats on the smith, useing there toes to push them selves up it so bad, i have to correct them it makes my knees hurt just to whatch them do it.
Biggest mistake I see are people in there who should never step foot into a gym.
They are everywhere in abundance.
~SC~
People in my gym take things pretty slow and everything...but we have some terrible personal trainers that have old women over exagerating movements...and just generally doing things wrong...
Then there are the young guys that go too far on movements...i.e. lateral raises that start to go to the ceiling...
those sweaty fvckers that dont use towels and wipe down the equipment!!
grrrrr

He's probably talking about those jaggoffs that stand there and talk to girls, or sit on the bench and talk to their friends for 10 mins while people wait, or the fatass who doesn't wipe his sweat off the leg press after putting 800 lbs on and going 3 inches down 5 times...pick your idiot, I'm sure there are plenty more where they came from....Originally Posted by palumbo
watching some dude with six plates on each side let the leg press go all the way down so his knees are in his chest...probably will bounce/bench 325 off his chest too..
people like u watching other people. just worry about yourself and only u. u dont have any idea about what sombodys workout regiment is so u shouldnt focus on it.![]()

You cant perceive things between sets?...
I saw this guy with this young kid, guessing it was his son, working out together. The father put about 70lbs on a EZ bar and when he went to curl the far he leaned forward then swung his back backwards. I couldn't help but to laught![]()

Maybe not a mistake...but the loud a**holes that grunt and scream and huff and puff like their about to drop a load right there. Also the people who have to slam plates together. I don't if it is to get attention or not....but one day I'm gonna give them some attention!!!![]()
I always enjoy how newbies make a feeble attempt to "invent" a new exercises. Like using the row machine to do bicep curls or tricep extensions
Bad form and too much weight..
guys that use the same weight, which is already too heavy for them for 4 or more sets mainly dumbells and those same people take a 4 min rest period in between
they can annoy me on one hand...but props to them for getting in and trying to change themselves. i can't be mad at that for too long -- best thing to do is help 'em out if ya can and school them a bit.Originally Posted by SwoleCat
Extended rest periods is the one I see the most. One guy brings the newspaper with him and actually sits on whatever he's using and reads an article!
I've never heard or read about this form of focus and concentration in a work out - but to each his own.
the ppl who obviously dont know what to eat
I was doing my 4 sets of heavy sumo deads tonight and i noticed two kids watching me. So i'm like whatever, i'll just use that to do even better (head games). Well i finish and unrack all the weight then go up stairs for pullups. I come back down for chest and see this kids trying to do sumo's now as well. OMG their form was 100% out the window. I felt like saying something to try and help them but sometimes i feel like a d!ick getting into other peoples business.Originally Posted by cb25
