So is tony dead or not?

I'm sure many of you saw the sopranos and uncle junior shooting tony in the stomach. Do you guys think he's bit the dust or still alive in the hospital?

Yeah but it could be a shocking twist to the story with power struggles, new york mafia then trying to move in on jersey turf and mob wars and other characters getting killed. It could be quite a good plot twist.

yeah but if you look, all that was showed in the previews was from the first episode only. not saying he'd dead but the producers are really keeping it under a very tight lid.

my girlfriend told me that she heard that they are going to shot the show backward this year meaning that the episode we saw will be the lat episode of the season and ow they will go back each wk from now showing event to how it all happened, i dontbelieve they will do this, but she read this on a soprano's board, i doubt it is true, doesnt make sense

didnt carmel mention that adriana was gone for over a year? The last episode on the 5th season also makes a reference to the length of adriana's disappearance. If it has been one year since ade's disappearance and the episodes are going to be shown backwards then some of episodes will have very short time frames in between them. I am not aware of the time frame between episodes of the 1st five seasons so i dont know what conclusion to make.

Also is this the final season on the sopranos? I hear that the contract has run out? Why would they cancel such a good, successful show?

The same thing is happening to Rome! It may never come back!

it ism not the last season,it is thelast full season. they R going to comeback next year with 8 more episodes to wrap it all up,sometimes it is better whebn a show leaves on top, look at friends, show was Ok than the last 2 seasons were awful, same with happy days. better to retire early than go out crappy. i thought 6 feet under had 2 or 3 good seasons still left, obviously the creator of the show did not.
