2) After severing our ties with those who provided for us to get here to the u.s., we next kill off the indians who welcomed us with open arms (initially). Not only do we kill them and STEAL their land, but we underhandedly pretend to be their friends and give them diseased blankets to kill most of them off.
3) Numerous fights/wars for territory along mexico for trade interests along ports, despite mexican ownership long before we came.
4) We demand other countries disarm when we ourselves are armed to the teeth with nukes.
5) When going to war the second time around with iraq, the first thing the military was told to secure were the oil refineries. Not the peoples safety, not finding Saddam, but securing the financial interest of our government.
I could go on, but I think that gets the point across. The U.S. was created through greed, trickery, seas of bloodshed, and is now a power-happy, trigger-happy authority who thinks it's "big brother" who knows best. I love most the PEOPLE of america, but our government? No thanks. I know it could be worse, but it could certainly be far better as well.
