    IPod question!!!! HELP!!!

I just bought a new laptop and I was wondering how to get the music from my Ipod onto my new laptop and into itunes. Does anyone know how? For some reason, I cannot figure it out. Is it possible? I tried to import my ipod library onto my new computer but it doesn't work that way. Anyone have any ideas??????

I'm no expert, but if you loaded iTunes on yr new laptop and it recognizes yr ipod, listing all songs, then I would think you could select all the songs from yr ipod and 'drag' them to yr library.

I thought that too, but for some reason it only shows me what the ipod has on it for songs, but won't let me drag them over to the new library....unless I'm missing something completely.

The way iPods are you can copy to them, but you can't copy from them. At least by using iTunes.

Now, there are ways around this.

Try a free download called iPod Agent. That works well for copying from the iPod to the PC. Good luck.

maybe try opening your iPod through a different program like Windows media Player or others. Damn...the iPod is just a hard drive. Ask someone at the Apple store. They always give free advice.
