Im 20yrs old and really thinking this could be a good move. always had a feeling that the army life's for me.

I would be doing something like 'Recovery Mechanics'.

Whats your views on todays British army.

I'm an Irish soldier, with 21 yrs service (and counting). And when an Irishman says the British army is probably the best in the world it says alot.

Without a doubt the British squadie is the finest on the planet, apart from the Irish of course .

But seriously, I wouldn't want to share a trench with anyone else.

I couldn't tell you anything about working in it as regards pay and conditions etc.
