New Zealand
As anyone been to New Zealand and can tell me what it's like?
I have a friend that lives in Auckland New Zealand and he's traveling for 6 weeks. He offered me his apartment and use of his car while he's gone. Said all I'll have to pay for is my flight. What is it like there?Muscle Asylum Project Athlete

I could ask my wife since she is a native from Australia. I am sure it is very similiar. Drive on the opposite side of the road, very beautiful country side, lots of water, nothing deadly or poisonous on the island, beautiful people.

It's like Heaven on earth. However, it's starting to get winter. Better take warm clothes.

I really want to leave NYC and the US in general. I've been job hunting in Spain but I haven't found anything yet. I go back to Spain again next week. At this point I want to be any where but NY.
My friend who's in New Zealand is a pilot and knows how much I want to leave here. His apartment and car for a month is a great offer. But I've never thought of traveling to New Zealand before. I know nothing about it.Muscle Asylum Project Athlete

But yea..I was at this club called shoko and went to another called catwalk in port olimpico and there were some pretty big boys there trying to size me up. They had some shrek looking girlfriends though, and me and my homegirl from belgium ending up drinking with em.

Most of them were dancers on stage or bouncers who worked at the clubs though, lol. They were sizing me up as well, but I wasn't juicing at the time and eating shitty so I was alot leaner, but still good size nonetheless.
What do you think about Baja Beach Club?Last edited by Smak; 03-25-2006 at 01:15 PM.

This was the one place I dreamed about living due to my climate likings... I've never been and I will say if it were possible that a friend had an apartment and I could barrow it... I wouldn't have time to finish this post cuz I'd be checking my miles and air fares to get my ass over there some how.

i am actually going to be job hunting in a year in New Zealand...it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have never been there but would go at the drop of the hat. If youre getting a free place and care for a month +, youve got to be insane not to take the offer imo. Try it out, if you dont like it leave in a week, but i think it will definatly be worth the trip.

I would strongly suggest trying to find a couple of days if not a week to go there, basically all you have to pay for is the plane ticket and some food
i dont know what kind of money you make, but i can't imagine a week trip with a house and a car would set you back more than a week if youre saving.

I played rugby in Auckland when i was at Grammar School and i have never come up against a team so physical and strong in my life, they absolutley battered us, all over the pitch, very strong guys, even at 16/17.
Lovely country though, really relaxed and the people are really nice.
Just got to watch out for the sheep though.
