What kind of dog do you have?
I had an American Staffordshire Terrier and i loved him so much.
Now i live in an apartment, and i want to get a dog. The dont allow certain breeds...i still have to contact them about specifics, but i know it says they dont allow pitbulls, mastiffs, dobermins, and something i forgot...and they can deny any others they want...
Im sure they are going to say an amstaff is the same breed or something as the pit, or atleast too close blah blah...
I'd like to get an American Bulldog, but im afraid they are going to say since its part of the mastiff family, no.
Im not worried about the dog getting enough exercise, and it definitly will get out, and i have a brother nearby with a big yard and 2 boxers, and im very active...but the dog would have to be somewhat apartment friendly.
So i just wanted to get some ideas on what dogs you others may have, maybe you'll help me think of something because i dont really want anything besides one of those two breeds. Im pretty specific on the look, mentality of the types of dogs i like.
thanks!@

i have an 11 year old miniture schnuazer that i've had since he was 5 weeks. i got him when i was 18 and we had 2 when i was growing up. they are so loyal and loving to the family. they are extremely smart and playfull but they will chew up everything they can get a hold of when they are puppies but they outgrow that. i doubt i'll ever have any other breed of dog.

Great Dane (M/Fawn/37" @ shoulders)... stubborn to house train, steals food from stove, top of fridge and open cupboards, great with kids, hates men, v. loyal and great guard dog & a lab/cocker spaniel lab mix - the little brat is being neutered Friday, won't stop pee'ing in the house but has the loyalty of the lab so we put up with it (hence the snipping).
