    Sirius Radio

    I got it last christmas and tried to install it and had lots of trouble. Never got around to doing it, so went to best buy today and they want 100 bucks. Is that a good price? And won't the base look ugly on the top of my whip? Anyone have any tips????

    Do any of your buddies know how to install radios? I had one who use to do it for a case of beer, I'm not sure if the cirrus radio would be much different than a regular stereo though. The cirrus radio sounds good, but for me it would just be one more monthly bill, so I just stick to free radio, only listen to AM anyway.

    I put a post on craigslist and found a guy with a lot of experience-he came over and installed it in my truck, paid him 40.00

    Will try that, I think he saw my car and thought he could squeeze some extra cash out of me. Nice try.. Cause I had my girl call and ask for a price and the same guy said 60 bucks..

    oh shit, i'm in cali. but at my work we usually charge about $50 no more than.
    it's simple to install, which unit did u buy?

    Howard is way better. I am addicted to syrius and wouldn't go back to free radio if they paid me.

    $50.00-60.00 is reasonable. I wouldn't pay more than $60.00.

    I paid $250 for mine to be installed. The place I went was highend and I wanted a custom job done. My roommate put his in his truck in about a hour and it looks ok.

    I have XM and when Howard went to Sirius I started listening to them. I have to say I like O & A a lot better then Howie. Plus the XM systems blow away the Sirius systems in sound quailty.
