I use them prolly every other week. I mean its way too easy to max out the machine so its never really a strenuous exercise for me. But I do it very last exercise before I leave and I can tell you that I really do feel it when I go nice and slow and really stretch it. I dont think going heavy on squats is directly hitting your adductor/abductor muscles, well for a fact it isnt, so I try to hit every muscle.

When hitting ad and abductions you also work you tensor fascia lata and you glutes as well
I use it everyother leg day...a nice burn at the end
my gym has it right in front of a mirror..
and i go to a predominately mens gym.. i don't use it..
lying hammy curls r an issue too. - positioned right in front of the men's lockers
Are guys really that bad at your gym? I couldnt even pick a girl out of a lineup if she went to my gym. College/university gyms are the worst, I used to work out at my uni gym but the people are idiots and the weights are too low. It was pretty embarassing when I would see the football team lifting like half of what I do. So now even tho my uni gym is free I pay for a membership and go elsewhere. I also have a free membership at another gym but choose not to go there because its just not hardcore enough. the football players and the like work out at a different gym which recently opened, and when they did work out in the same gym as us (the eight) , their weights were certainly not something to write home about. i shouldve learnt how to power clean and snatch from them, though!
The problem is those guys have egos, my friend was warming up with 135lb for his deadlift and they were actually laughing at him. When he put the 5th plate on each side they shut up![]()

Well you could hit them a little bit of course changing up stances etc. But all in all your adductors primary function is to pull the leg toward the mid-line of the body. So you are not fully targetting them unless you do these types of exercises. If you have ever taken anatomy or have access to an anatomy book something to look at is the origins and insertions of muscles, this really helps you to understand how they all work. Lets take your quads for example, all four muscles (vastus, lateralis/medialis/intermedius and rectus femoris all insert onto the patella and form the patellar ligament. However, your rectus femoris is the only one that crosses the hip joint, the other three originate on the femur. This means that it will also help to flex the hip and can be targeted with leg extensions whereas squats and leg presses will be more beneficial when trying to target your vastus group.
I just think it's funny to see women who only do cardio.. they incorporate this machine into their work out and think it will make a significant difference..
Some girls go out of their way to be seen. They'll sit there with these tiny ass shorts in between sets with their legs all the way open..i dont think its on accident
you know what machine is the worst....the one where you do hyperextensions, girls with short shorts on that is a sight to see....except when the old ladies go on it with there tight pants that will make you flaccid in about 2 seconds
