Helpppp ...aim!

This is driving me crazy. I use AIM and upgraded to triton and hated it after about a week so uninstalled it and ran a spybot and other cleaners to get it all off. I tried to download the 5.9 version i had which was the latest one before that one.

I reinstalled it and tried to open it and it keeps freezing where it say 'would you like to make this your default messenger' . I tried to keep dowloading older versions and it kept happening till i finally made it all teh way down one fo the first oldddddddddd school versions, that is annoying. Anyone have any Idea what could be wrong?

Cant help exactly...but I know many including myself have had big probs with aim and aol in general...spyware etc comes with their stuff...best advice is to switch to MSN...it really is the best...take about 30secs before youre talking...

Yea...I guessing that if I were to go back to triton again it would 'magically' work with no problem, but I have read some horrible articles about triton and spyware.

I dunno, I have msn but I rarely log on. I just know so many more people on aol, and like the way their interface looks (except aim triton).

JESUS CHRISTTTTTT ...Why didn't I switch to trillian ages ago???? This shit rockssssssssssssssssssssssssss!. The interface is not as bad as triton and being logged on to yahoo/msn/aim together...wow.
