Does your battery play CD's?

If not, then you need to rip out the deck. How else can you hook them up?

because you hook up positive and negative to the battery and radio to the deck, but that wont work for 6x9s, you do that for your amp, amp is the only thing that gets hooked up through the firewall, but it doesnt even go straight to the battery, and yeah, hook it up to the deck, run it thru the floor panels, behind the dash into the deck, its easy.

no it won't play. You would have to hook it up to your stereo or something that has audio out.
