    snowboarders

could use a little help here....end of the season, and after going *nuts* with the freeriding, cliff dropping and chute rolling, the snow conditions suck and I've taken it to the park for the rest of the year. I'm picking up stuff fairly quickly, but my instincts on the hill are KILLING me when it comes to boardslides. I've learned never to be off an edge for more than a second or two, and that instinct causes me to lean back on to my edge on frontside boardslides.....something that's obviously the last thing i want to do in that situation.

For those successfully completing boardslides with any regularity, do you have any tips?

position yourself over your feet, look down at them, and make sure you feel what you're doing...oh yeah, and don't get panicy or excited...
