Solving Energy Problem
in my Chemistry lecture we discovered the properties of Fuel Cells. Amazing really and just want to give y'all some information on it.
The car's fuel cell system operates by electrochemically combining on-board hydrogen with oxygen taken from the air outside. Like batteries, fuel cells use electrodes (solid electrical conductors) in an electrolyte (an electrically conductive medium). When the hydrogen molecules come into contact with the negative electrodes, the molecules split into protons and electrons. The protons are carried across the proton exchange membrane to the positive electrode of the fuel cell, generating electricity. The molecules of the hydrogen and oxygen are combined chemically, with water as the "waste product." The only emission will be water vapor.
The electricity generated from the fuel cells will be used by the car's electric induction motor/transaxle and electric power inverter to produce up to 90 kilowatts of power. The electric power inverter works by converting the raw electrical current generated by the fuel cells into an alternating current that powers the electric motor and turns the wheels of the vehicle. A traditional car battery will be used to operate the car's electrical system, including the radio and air conditioning.
You could be driving and just put methanol or any natural gas and drive continuously.. simply amazing

what about super heating gasoline vapor prior to mixing it with air... i did this when i was cutting an old gas tank out of my dads jeep, the tank was empty for at least 10 years old, when i burned through the tank it blew the fuel cap off and.. in the 50's there was a gentleman that claimed he had a 200mph carb based on this same principle.

Fuel cell technology is awsome.. BUT... dont forget it takes TWICE the amount of energy to produce it!! With the lack of alternative methods to produce this technology, we would simply be polluting the environment faster!

i reckon a whole lot of fat people riding bicycles connected to charging cells would be sweet

Johan do you see all these nuclear power plants being a threat. not just stabilty wise, but enviromentally.
like about 100 miles from where i live there is a nuclear power plant. That area has had the highest population of terets and autism per/capita they relate it to the water cause of the nuclear power plant's waste....think this would be an issue??

With that said nothing is 100% safe. But nuclear power is far safer than fossile fuels.
Honestly I would not mind at all living near a nuclear power plant. I would be more worried about living near a major highway or industrial area.

btw its more or less impossible for any waste to get into the water supply. Even during the harrisburg accident zero radioactive waste got out of the plant itself.

awesome!! the plant im referring to is known as "three Mile Island" you may or may have not of heard of it. It pretty well-known I know you arent from the US though.

nuclear power plants are very safe imo = ( great for producing energy but the enviroment gets fvcked
