    wrecked a friends car

saturday...hit a ladies car, hardly any damage to her car, moderate damage to my buddies.

Does anyone know what will happen insurance wise? will his insurance be charged or will mine?

It def goes against his insurance. My bitch g/f crashed my car once and my shit SKYROCKETED. It goes very high especially when there is someone else behing the wheel of YOUR car. I think yours will also go on record as well if it was reported to the police.

the police did not come thank god...for reasons i am not going to list

well that sucks, because i would rather have my rates raise than his. his insurance did call me and told me that i could be charged for this accident, im not sure what that meant, but they told me they would call me within 48 hours to let me know what is up

Exactly. Get a quote on how much it will cost from a few bump shops then pay for it if its in reason. Otherwise...I have no f'ing idea what I would do.

well i think the damage to his car will be pretty expensive. the air bags deployed and both quarter panels cracked from impact, so my guess is that it is going to be atleast $3k just from his car.

i don't have that kind of cash, and if his insurance will cover it then i think i will just pay his deductable and be done with it.

deployed air bags already tell me the damage is FAR more than 3k. You are looking at $5,000 on a damn low side.

id flee the country lol i think your insurance company will pay for the damages if you have car insurance, if not theres a article on every policy that pays for un- or under insured drivers. I know a guy that did the same thing although they didnt wreck into another driver but a gaurd rail and they just drove the car to a parking lot and claimed a hit and run, so far i understand it worked.

it's all about what you want to do. If you have full coverage, it usually covers...

Not usually. Uless he did something directly to cause the accident, then it's not his fault.
