He wants to chop up parts of a DVD and put it ito a playeble format on his PSP. The PSP connects via USB.

don't have experience in with psp ... I will research it get back to you tomorrow... i just have to find out what format it takes and that kinda stuff.

Welp here ya are... convert each clip to mpeg (or the whole movie). Then you can use http://www.pspvideo9.com/ which is a good free product for it.
also pspblender.com is supposed to be a free d/l side for stuff.
p.s. if you need more info on how to convert dvd's into mpeg...i'd do some reading on adobe premiere. That's what i use to do that but i'm sure there is easier software out there.
