Over here boys!
Okay guys curiousity is getting the better of me.
For you really muscley dudes, when you want to date, granted your life probably consists of training and dieting with little time for anything else... but anyway, do you want to date a woman who is also very muscular? Does an average woman's body turn you off?
What do you think of women who work out all the time? Some jack ass once told me that because I work out as much as I do I must be high maintenance, and I'm actually the exact opposite.. do you respect women more if they work out regularly?
I'm interested to hear your opinions on this stuff... will be interesting to compare it to how I think from a womans point of view..
Thanks!

i like the average female body, never been with someone who looks like they work out really. i would like to get myself a girl that is into working out in some capacity, just because that way she will likely understand my lifestyle. a bodybuilder chick turns me off, but some of the fitness competitors... phew!

Ditto. It's just HUGE female body builders that don't do it for me.

I love a girl who works out and takes care of her body, Girls who are just totally swoled up are disgusting, being swoled up is for the man, not the woman.

I figured that would be the consensus... I agree, but opposite.. lol, meaning I wouldn't want to date a guy that didn't take care of his body in the gym and at the dinner table for that matter.
I once lived with a guy who was disgusted with the least bit of out-of-shapeness, and I"m talking small ... it was weird.
I know you hold yourselves to very high standards, anyone who works out hard usually does, I know I do.. but do you hold women to those as well?
I'd take the gym over shopping any day!!

i also find it weird that they are willing to deadlift/squat/ even row, but they wont bench becuase htye feel it will make them too 'big'... becuase it's that easy

I find it easier to hold a relationship with someone that shares the same lifestyle. The things bodybuilders have to do, dieting mostly, seems to intimidate the average insecure female.
I love women who work out and take care of themselves. I find it a huge turn on. But I'm not attracted to the 'big' girls who can deadlift more than I weigh.

Personally i try not to judge other people... I try and look for positive in everyone. Gotta understand that maybe if we were in their shoes we'd prolly be just like them..
but when it comes to relationships/What gets me horny LOL.. than yeah thats a whole different ball game.. but once u get to know people standards tend to drop from what i've noticed, to a small degree.. so i feel theres prolly a lot of leevay (if thats spelled right) The best is tho, if the girl likes the same type of foods u like.. but even more important is a girl that feeds me..
I noticed that really is into atleast my heart.. give me food!!
Chicks at work that bring me food to eat.. I LOVE EM!

He was a lot bigger than me, but couldn't deal with me getting noticed more than him

I agree, dieting can really be a problem if you're dating someone that doens't understand or need to. I have certain meals that I eat in a day and usually specific times as well, and gym times for that matter.. nice to be with someone who can keep a similar schedule and not pressure you to go to KFC for dinner.. blech.
It's also fun to have someone else around to keep me company when I'm planning and making my lunches for the next day... or thiers

But when people take specific notice of her for her size, as in "wow, you are a really buff chick", that's when it gets too 'big'. When people make comments like "wow, you are really toned and lean", that's just right.

I definitely believe two people have to have fitness/diet in common when it's at this level... otherwise the one who doesn't do it just won't get it and will always be fighting for time and attention that theyre not going to get, unless they lace up the runners and hit the gym too and start eating right as well. Also, what better way to live in a relationship ... you can take care of each other that way.. helping with meals, PWO nutrition, getting/giving gym tips.. it's awesome... at least in my opinion.
But I just wasn't sure of what guys thought, if you even thought about that stuff... I think really muscley guys get stereotyped as confirmed bachelors or unapproachable, or "on the market" etc.

I will talk to someone regardless of their size if i find them attractive.
Some women are intimidated by muscular guys, just like some men are intimidated by certain aspects of women.
I don't find any of these issues in Toronto.

I agree with you Tim.. are those the type of women that guys like to be approached by? Drunk ones that need booze to get up the courage to talk to a guy, regardless of how massive his muscles may or may not be? LOL
I jsut know that most of the body builder-ish gusy that I know are single, I'm not too sure as to why, i'm not gonn ask them... so I'm asking you guys! Haha.
If the guy I'm seeing works out hard, eats right .. basically has the same lifestyle I do.. and looks like you guys, you'd better believe I"m gonna take care of him... lunches, dinners, shakes.. whatever it takes.. but I like to be needed/wanted... especially when you have that stuff in common, makes it more fun. Of course it's 50/50 though, it has to be balanced or it won't work..
