If I get one more half assed, disrespectful, mis-spelled, 5th grade composed, totally assinine request for a source check, I'm going to suspend the person who does it. It's very insulting to be asked such stupid shit when I am here for one purpose only, that being the workout/diet forums and moderation of those and the Lounge.

I will no longer respond with a quaint little explanation, but will just hand out suspensions. Not even giving one the respect to have looked over the entire signature and disclaimers before asking such a question, is immature and illustrates nothing but a lack of respect.

There are quite a few mods/vets here who do not do source checks or wish to be involved w/that at all. Just because it's an educational board about AAS doesn't mean that the mods all know where you can get steroids.

People are ASSUMING that mods are automatically involved in illegal activity (in the U.S) and that's wrong.

As to your opinion as to what is "assinine" regarding suspensions, I couldn't care less.

To a point I agree with you. "we are here only to hand out advice"...usually to gain enough perspective to give out advice, you have to have experience. If you are claiming to be the guru of steroids and fitness. Then I'm sure it is obvious to see why "noobs" ask you for sources. Don't forget the meaning of the word noob. It might aid you, while wondering why so many questions come your way.

On the other hand. It is illegal in some countries. (obviously) And to be even more obvious, asking someone from one of those countries for a source check....is a tad bit careless.

Exactly. Those asking such sensitive questions should also have the respect to seek out who does this "CHECK" shit and who doesn't.

There are instructions to newbies that says to FIND A MOD WHO DOES CHECKS, so when you contact one who does not, what does that say about following the rules/procedures here?

exactly...people take it to lightly and think they wont get caught. some people dont want those email's/pm's on there comp...sounds stupid but source checks are a privilage...u cant just sign up and ask for a source check u should contribute to the board and earn it...

I understand that my name is well known, that being said it should also be well known why I am here and what I assist with and do not assist with.

As far as me being excited about a source, no, I don't have any reason to be looking for illegal activity on the Internet, that's not what I'm about and I've never done that and won't ever do such a thing. Not sure why you would think that, but that's my point about people assuming.
