    is this possible natural?

I ve been doing a bit of research on natural gains, and what to expect.
So far as i ve seen the average natural gains are brtween 6lb to 12lb a year.

Interesting though as i ve just watched the special features disk on the will smith film ali and it goes into a bit of depth about his training and gains.

In a year of traing his weight went from 189lbs to 222lbs.

His bench press went from 175lb to 365lb.

And almost everyone here i imagine knows more on the subject of training and gains than me.

    Possible without steriods ????????

i suppose so.. as for LIFTING .. its alot to do w/ CNS and LEARNING how to lift, once u train ur CNS then its about muscle mass and even then u kan still keep traiing ur CNS to make better greater gains.
his weight went up that much not only because of LBM but because of fatty tissue, increase muscle, increasing glycogen reserves incresing water retention.

Remember actors can do that because it becomes their job. They have persoanl trainer, nutrionists, etc...and nothing to worry about except working out. Most people with that support system, and the desire could probably acheive that or close.

33lbs in a year is def. possible...like tai said he also gained fat/water retentio, along with his muscle...as for if his bench goin up 190lbs i dont think thats true...which brings me to my next point that u cant beleive everything u here in the media...or what people say for that matter...

i think it is possible...what you have to remember is that he had someone cook all his meals with exactly everything and exactly the right amounts, plus trainers treaching how to lift for the first time...with those resources it is most definately possible to do it clean....

this is unquestionably possible. during my first 4 months of working out, i had put on about 45lbs. i did gain some bodyfat, but i still stayed pretty lean, and my strength jumped up ridiculously. my lbm gains out of that 45 were at least 35lbs minimum.

this however came from me literally dedicating myself to eating, training, and sleeping. i had just broken up with my first long-term relationship, so i had nothing better to do than focus on working out.

another big contributing factor is genetic predisposition. so in your question of if it's possible? yes. however, it all depends on the person.
