    Anybody had LASIX surgery?

Just wondering if anybody on here has had LASIX surgery and how you like it? How much did you pay for it? I went for a consultation yesterday and will probably get LASEX over LASIX, they are two slightly different procedures. Just looking for more information on what people think, if you had any problems, and how much you paid for it. Thanks!

mine only cost 2000 and i love it, went from 20/400(no lie, legally blind without contacts or glasses) to 20/15 and 20/20. some people do need to get the adjustment but mine went just fine. one thing, opt for the valium. i couldn't have dealt with the eyeball fuddlin without it!

WHOLY SH*T... what are the chances man. For 2 people who had the same thing happen who happen to be on the same board......the chances are crazy!

considering lasik has a success rate of 99%. Same happened here man. Cept different parts of my eye have different prescriptions.

My ma was a smidgen way from being consired legally blind.. and she got laser surgery about a year ago... she is 47... she now weres "reading" glasses which I guess is normal, but its irregular for her to wear him... as for as the surgery... she loves it... she almost couldnt find lens' thin enough to fit her frames before the surgery...

Just seeing how happy she is... never complaining or even mentioning side effects give me the impression it was well worth it.... I dont know for sure, but im pretty positive she didnt pay over 2 stacks for the surgery and i think her insurance paid for a third...

Based on her success... I WILL get the same surgery once my eyes are done adjusting
