    Calling all comuter geeks...

Ok computer fags I have problem with this label maker I have. I know nothing about computers or how they work but I have tried everything I can think of to fix this problem. Everytime I try to print out a label for an envelope it always comes out about a 1/2 inch off center and then it ends up being cut off. I cant fix it for shit. Now the damn printer wont even print it out the right way and prints it the lengthwise side of the paper instead of across. Anyone have any good ideas??

I use MS-Word for label printing and it is very easy. Go to "Tools" -> "Letters and Mailing" -> "Envelopes and Labels". Then select the "Labels" Tab and click on "Options" to choose the appropriate dimensions. You can configure the margins from the "Details" button.

sounds like a software problem to me. What progie are you using to print? Also...did you use the drivers that came with your printer or did you let xp detect em and install generic?

It's called label factory deluxe. In terms of your other questions I dont have a clue. All I saw on the box was that it was compatible with windows XP so i bought it. my father uses another label maker and it prints fine but I cant do shit. I have to calibrate the printer and everything and I have no clue whats going on.

I'd recommend installing whatever software was in the cd... also look for a file called "readme" and read it ... it will probably give you some info you didn't know.
