I usually use Ares, but I cannot get it to connect lately in hte last couple weeks and would like to burn a CD. What program do you all use for downloading music?

shareaza is what i use. it connects to edonkey, limewire, gnutella, along with several other networks. as far as i've seen, it's the best out there as far as speed and availability of files, both for vids and music.

take a look at this website. it has tons of file-sharing progs on it, and user reviews of them. http://www.zeropaid.com/programs/

as far as kazaa or any versions of it, don't bother. that network is infested with fake files from the RIAA. i used to love it, but it's gone to garbage within the past year or so. i've used a lot of them, and shareaza is currently the best in my experience.
