24 Hour Fitness is ghey
so I paid $900 up front for a 3 year membership with a $50 annual renewal fee after that and now I regret it here's why
1. There are no towels or spray bottles to wipe down the equipment before and after you use it. As a matter of fact there are no paper products in there period, not even in the bathroom to dry your hands off after you wash them using the bathroom. I feel really disgusted using the equipment in there because of this fact.
2. They have advertisements posted all over the place for their fitness products and other places like jack in the box for advertising salads and shit like that.
3. They have PSA's posted about steroid usage full of bullshit. Really annoying warning against men growing breast tissue, infertility, heart disease and other stuff.
yeah it's nice they are open 24 hours but I sure miss golds' gym and they don't have any around here

The quality of the 24 hour fitness gyms vary from location-to-location. Some gyms really suck and others are decent.
Did you get their all-club membership or just an one-club membership?
I really like how they renamed the "Apex Program's 5 components of fitness" to their own "24-5 program".
I still have an all-club membership because I did a deal similar to yours several years ago, but I go to another local gym with better service and facilities.

Back in my old town, i trained in an awesome gym. This guy turned his oold basement into it, conctrete and steel was all. rock and rap music, and alot of muscle, and no pansy ass punks.
I started there at 14, and was there till 1 year ago. i miss it. I learned alot from the big guys there.

oh yeah that's my other rant
I went to a yoga class there and the woman teaching it was extremely overweight and couldn't hold the poses. It was such a joke. When I was at golds in DC the yoga instructor was a fitness competitor and she taught a really good class. also she was really hot

There are 10 different 24 hour fitness gyms in San Francisco. The clubs on Van Ness, Pacific Heights, North Point, and California street are good. I heard that the Marina and Noe Valley clubs suck.
One of the clubs is near the Castro and is supposed to be nice, but don't bend over to pick up any weights, and expect to be hit on by a bunch of dudes!!!

Don't have any 24 fitness centers in my city. I do go to a gym that is open 24 hours four days a week, and the other three days for 12 hours. It's not bad, always has lots of spray bottles and towels to clean the equipment.
Only reason I go there, is because I get a sick discount program through my work.

I'm barely in plano city limits and the closest one to me is in Allen right off 75. There's one in Frisco but I haven't checked it out yet
