I suppose you are talking about Portland Oregon...i have family in Eugene Oregon and when i visit them i always have fun there...i never been to portland but they tell me it's alot of fun and i will go there next time!! The chicks there are alot fun!!!

I hate it! I'm 37 and the older you get, the harder it is to meet people and make new friends. I don't have family in NYC and I don't know a lot of people here so I don't have much choice. I know more people and have more friends in Spain than I do here.

You should just go out to some social spots. You're in the city...there's a billion places to meet new people.

Well I dont know what you're into to be honest. I mean I can assume you'd prefer gay clubs then straight clubs right? It all depends on what you're looking for. Big clubs are out of the question as I hate them myself and its not ideal for meeting anyone. What are your types of places?

Damn, I hate to hear that. I am a lot younger, but I have been in that situation before in an environment where you have nothing to do or no one to hang out with. It is like that for me in the summer b/c I stay at school and most other people go home or go on trips, or whatever else. It gets kind of depressing at times, but the plus side is that you stay focused on your training goals, although I believe it is unhealthy to focus only on training/nutrition.

No, I'm not big on clubs. Straight places are fine. Friends don't have to be gay you know.
