How much do you pay for cable or satellite?
I had them shut off my cable, it got up to $70 a month for basic cable (comcast, only game in town or satellite same price) Plus after you get raped for cable, you still have hours of reruns and commercials. I work 7 days a week so I don't really see but 2 hours a night if that. I just rent or buy alot of movies (blockbuster).

Its about the Roman empire. Basically the story line revolves around these two badasses. I love it. Every time someone pisses the one off he sticks a sword through their neck.
Never seen em. What network?

I have Charter now but they don't provide hdtv in my area. I was thinking about changing to Comcast or dishnetwork. Does a hdtv receiver change the picture even on regular channels or no. I pay $42 dollars now

Over $100 a month for cable, it's getting out of hand. Cable should be free (except movie channels) hell you have to watch the stupid commercials. A person running for president should just say "free cable and cheap gas" that way aleast we would get something for getting fuked every 4 years.

the advertisers pay the tv stations, the tv stations pay the cable company..... why do consumers have to pay the cable company as well to view commercials....
if they want to charge for cable.. there should be no advertisements imo

I pay $80 for it all. Cable, HBO, showtime,TMC, Skinamax, 1.5 mb internet, modem lease.
You know what i did? I called the cable company (Charter) and told them I can get direct T.V. for less. They were running promotions for new people signing up. So I asked them what they can do for someone who has been a customer for 6 years!?
Im only 25, but one thing I have learned is never be scared to ask for a discount.
