Gril friend got in a car accident today
It is actually good news though! I have a few questions for anyone who thinks they can help though.
A few weeks ago, a guy’s ladder fell on the vehicle when he was working on a roof furnace. So I got an estimate, faxed it to the company yesterday, they called be back the same day and put a check in the mail to me to fix the damages.
So today, a old lady turns right into my girl when she is driving! So now I go and get another estimate for my insurance company. It is the first claim I have ever had, I’m 25.
Now, my girl friend lives with me, is not on my insurance. The vehicle is in my name, registered in my name, insurance is in my name. Is this going to cause any problems with my insurance company? She is 23, I’m 25 if that matters and the state is Michigan.
The good news, the new claim will take care of the damages for the old claim, so that money goes right in the ol’ pocket!

No vacation time for me, investing the money to take a better vacation later in my life!
My luck had been really bad, i really needed a break!

Why are you telling people that you are commiting insurance fraud? First, you should at least acknowledge there is a paper trail. You sent the estimate to the company and they will write it off. I do not think that you will get caught, but that is not the issue. The issue is you should understand that what your doing is illegal and you should be careful.
Also, you mention that your girlfriend was driving. Your insurance should not be in question. The person who hit her should have their insurance pay for it. It will be that persons insurance company who may be looking to ensure the accident was 100% caused by the second incident. I am not trying to tell you not to do what you are doing, but dont tell everyone where you live as it is not something you should talk about.

Oki, i'm not scared.
I've talked about worst things on this message board. I don't think i'm going to prison any time soon for posting about how i made $650 on shier luck off an insurance company. It is not like i "staged" an accident or anything.
I'm sure the company will write it off. But at the same time I hardly doubt my auto carrier is going to subpoena me or another insurance company over a legitimate claim.
It's all good though, i actually did hesitate to post but I honestly don't feel I'm doing anything wrong.
