yeah i quite enjoyed reading stuff in there. the only things that annoyed me was people relaying religion in a factual matter, and ofcourse, most of badgermans posts hehe

Here's the story basically.

Last year militiaguy wrote me an email telling me why he'd love to murder Rak_Ani (female member). And was banned for a time, but the banning lapsed and he came back.

Then last week I'd to ban him again, a permanent ban (ip addy included). And he then followed this with another email with a photo someone (a regular political forum member) sent him saying it was Rak_Ani and threatening to post it, including posting it on other boards too. It was only a photo from a webcam of a female face, and nothing else.

With this in mind, and the serious nature of that board. Plus the continued personal attacks the forum had to be closed.

Militiaguy is a banned member, although he might try to use proxy ip addresses to gain access again. If someone here suspects thats the case please report it to a Moderator.

I think I know who the member is who passed the photo along, but without firm confirmation I can't post that here. But its being dealt with. The member will be banned permanently too.

In a nutshell.

Militiaguy was a confessed member of the Hezbollah party. He wants to kill an Israeli female member of this board, or failing that put her privacy and safety in jepardy.

I have photographs of him. But I'm not going to lower myself to his standards by posting them. Basically he looks like another other Arab. Black hair, a beard, a little chubby. He's a college drop out and is unemployed, he's also enquired about getting a visa to work in the USA or Canada (I hope its not flight school!).

I think he's let down fellow Muslim and Arab brothers and has just re-enforced what alot of ill informed westerners think about Arabs/Muslims.

All religions claim to be the truth about God. So, it is impossible for a believer of any one of them to look at the different "religious truths" as syncretistic.

Thats good to hear. Personally I hope the forum is restored someday, and some day soon. But at the end of the day this is a bodybuilding board and some people there never posted (or rarely) anywhere else on AR.com.

I used to post everywhere, but I'm not as serious about training now that I've gotten serious about other issues in my life. I've been posting in the pol/rel forum for less than a year!

When I saw that it was gone last night, I thought that was the undoing of the forum.

It would be nice to have the forum though..... I'm sure people that posted in there still use the info in other forums. I know I still did.

Plus- we don't want new people to think we're all just pure meatheads, do we?

That is very serious issue and immature behavior. I'm not sure if Rak will do such thing (I mean sharing her pic), especially with someone like M'Guy. But, if he ever does it, and posts a real pic of her, it can be dealt with properly. Let him don't forget that his real name is known and if he ever lands here, he will be taken care of properly, if you know what I mean. I hope he understands that very well.

Damn I remember they had heated arguments on that forum. It wasn't one I frequented often, but for those who did, it was a great outlet. Sometimes things got a little heated, but for the most part they didn't cross the line. Makes you wonder about his mindset, when he sent the emails to Bouncer.

Perhaps if it starts up again it will be by invite only or posts will have to approved by Mods until they have proven their entitlement to engage in mature adult debate. Can't remember the specifics rules on the political forum, they would prolly have to be re evaluated too. Would be nice to see it return.

You should post pictures of him. I dont want some fvckin member of hezbollah trying to get a visa to enter my country. If you actually gave me those pics I'd pass them along to INS/FBI.
