I think most serious lifters have all experienced this a time or two.

Some days are just ****ed up like that.

definetly had some lazy days. usually happens for me when i dont get to go to the gym until late. like around 9pm or so. by that time im ready to chill out at home and get ready for the next day. you just gotta push through and get it done. at least it was chest day for you, lazy leg day is THE worst.

I think everyone has days like this. SOme days I gt to the gym and nothing seems to go right, can't lift as much as usual.. someone alwyas using the equipment I need.. people getting in my way, feel like ass... i end up getting so mad and frustrated i leave.. but I always would feel guilty, so now I jsut force myself to go through the motions and sometimes i end up lifting better out of pure rage..haha. Or I'll take a break and hit up some cardio until my equipment is free or the gym has cleared a bit, then I'm more pumped to hit the weights...

Iknow the feeling thought and it sucks...

It's definately the antibiotics. I got an infection cleaning out my water fall.
Started Cipro. When you have things planned in your mind and then feel
sleepy you naturally get depressed. Usually if you take the right antibiotic,
what ever you have clears up fast. Kick back and get well.

i never have days like this, and when i do, i take a week off, as im sure its a sign of overtraining for me. last thursday and friday i got to the gym and really didnt wanna train. i did, and still had a very good workout, but knowing i didnt wanna be there made me take a week off this week, as hard as thats been. i was also struggling with eating my diet those last few days, so had a week off my normnal eating habits also. cannot wait to train on monday now

I've had days like that when I hit the gym for about 4 to five days straight then the next day I can't go on because my body needs to rest.

Yeah man everybody has had days like that. It is better to go and do a little then to not go at all. Those are the really crappy days.

Actually, it is better to not go at all rather than go just to go through the motions.

When I have days like that, I just go in and try to enjoy myself, and dont stress too much.

so you are saying doing nothing is better than just doing a little. That makes sense. I think Jimmy Carter had the same idea.

i hate it when squat days are like that

my squat day is governed by the type of squat rack im using!

ive found i cna do more with the kind of rack that doesnt have the safety feature as opposed to the one which does

    i cna do more with

    and less with

    strange... but true

Absolutely! If you can't put in 100% into your training on a given day, it is better to take a day off. You have to listen to your body. Ask around and i think you will see that most will agree.

we all have days when we feel lethargic and weak. imo the best thing to do is to hit it up as hard as you can. even if you are not moving as much weight as you normally do, its still better than not lifting at all

i dont know man. if im still sore then i might take the day off, but if im not sore but feeling weak, il still push myself hard, regardless of how i feel.
