I think that Veneers would be realively decent idea for a future purpose. Anyone have any? Any good/bad experiences?

i was born with perfect teeth. i don't think people should get shit like that done. let the women see your nasty teeth. they are shopping for genetic material. don't hoodwink them.

Well my teeth arnt that bad right now. But i have an issue with grinding. And i chipped my front tooth skateboarding when I was younger, its not bad, but noticable to me. Its just a thought. I'm still way to young/poor to get them, I'm just curious is anyone has experiences with them

Im meeting with an endodontis (sp?) pretty soon to see what they are gonna do with my fronts. One dentist told me they were a bad idea for front teeth because they arent that stable and have some flex to them. My mom always told me to get them crowned, I guess I will see. Ill hit him up about veneers when I meet with him and let you know what he says. I get them for free though so Im gonna do whatever is best. Shitty job most likely, but free nonetheless.

I was going to get them but my dentist did some bonding in places and tehn a solid bleach job. They look great now and cost less than $800 bucks total with insurance. A lot better than 15,000 woudl have been. You rtalking anywhere from 1K to 1,500 per tooth and they are not permenant. Not really worth it in my opinion.

They are costly and a friggin pain in the ass to do. They are not even permanent and you go through a lot of shit with them.

My teeth are actually really nice, but I'd still like them. Really nice is cool, but perfect is perfect.

I would definitely talk to the endodontist and your dentist to see if there is a cheaper rout to better teeth.

You need an experienced dentist to do them and they only last about 10 years currently.
I saw a special on TV not so long ago and many inexperienced dentists make the tragic mistake of grinding your teeth down too far before placing the veneers. This causes the veneers to become weak quicker and flake off.

The cost hurt a bit (5k in 1993), but well worth it.

there can be a lot of complications with them, it isnt the best idead if you dont need them, take care of your teeth today and you wont have to worry about veneers later in life

you cant just do one tooth at a time, all of them have to be done at the same time...and the veneer isnt there forever, they become yellow if not takin care of........I asked MOM..she has um...
