So i joined the big brother/big sister program..i always wanted to have a little sibling in real life..i think it's a good opportunity to help out a kid that didnt have all the support that i had growing up..and it's really great to put on professional school applications im in like the third week of "checking up on me", in which they call EVERY one of my references, run a background check, ask me all kinds of questions, put me through some sort of training, and check my driving record and such..i asked for an older boy, 12 or 13 years old, so hopefully i can get him in the gym and get him interested in training...i dont really have that much experience w kids, so im kind of nervous.....

Good Luck man!! That is a great and noble thing to take on! Just try to be patient and keep in mind what they have been through. Lots of issues I am sure. But you could end up being a MAJOR influence in their lives so have fun and good luck !!

Damn Im so jealous! I've always wanted to do something like this, but im not quite mature or developed in life yet, so it maybe wouldn't be wise for me. But your heart seems to be in the right place. That's very kickass of you to do this. I'll have my mother bake you some cookies or something. =)

thanks all..i have heard really good things from my ex, who has been in the program for about 4 years..i actually used to tutor her "little" in math, and ever since i have wanted to do this
