My ex g/f hated that I juiced. I did it anyway. We broke up (not because of the juice.) My current g/f wasn't thrilled about it but said something like "as long as you don't get mean it's fine with me." She recognized the fact that it made me happy and if I'm happy, she's happy. I didn't get mean. But hair started jumping off my head so I stopped anyway. But she was cool with it.

As far as g/fs go, they cant tell me how to live my life and what to do or no to do etc....(hey they tell us dont tell me where to go, how to dress, who to talk to etc...) so who in the heeelllll gives them a right to tell us if we can juice or not?
bottom line is , I would never tell a g/f or a wife I juice (well maybe a wife) cuz then once its over she will threaten to call the cops, tell all her lil gurly friends etc....

This is a question of familial ethics: What's more important, your passion for your body or your signifigant other? To some the answer to this question is easy, but to those who place great importance on both of these aspects of their life, it isn't. There are many questions that must be weighed. How close are you to your counterpart? Is she a girlfriend or wife? How long have you been married/dating? What are your aspirations with bodybuilding? What sacrifices are you willing to make? All of these factors play an important role in determining the choices you make with AAS in contrast and comparison to the desires of your loved one.
I ran into this issue with my wife as I was starting my first cycle not long after we were married. I made the mistake of not being being forthright about my use, and she found out. At first, she was vehemently against my use. There was also some tension and animoscity over my lack of honesty and outright deception as to my use. However, after we sat down and discussed it, I made her understand how important my personal aesthetics are to me. She still didn't like the idea, but she gave her consent.
Now, I use the term "consent" broadly. I'm a grown man. I can and will do whatever I want, but my wife and her happiness means the world to me. It means so much to me that I wouldn't have used AAS if she didn't agree to it. That is the choice that I made given my circumstance. It is not the same choice that others should or will make given theirs.
In review of my situation, it is important that you are honest from the beginning. If this person truly means enough to you that they will be with you for the "long haul", they will eventually find out about your substance use- don't fool yourself to believe otherwise. Also, when you tell them, you have to try to make the conversation as sterile as possible. Don't just make a vague comment en passant or entertain the dialogue in a fit of angry discourses. This may mean that you spend some time gathering your wits and your nerve, or it may mean that you two separate so that you can let you emotions calm down. However you do it, make sure that the dialogue is cradled in a good "sit-down" conversation. Make sure that you let them understand your perspective, and more importantly, make sure that you understand theirs. Keep in mind that if this person is a part of your life, the decision that you make will have a great impact on both of you.
When it is all said and done, there is no definitive answer here. No one can tell you to use or not use. You have to balance your love for the sport and your love for that person when you make your decision. Again, this depends in great part on how serious you are about bodybuilding and how serious you are about the relationship. This is a very important and difficult choice. Make sure that you give it all the time and attention that it needs. I was fortunate that my wife finally agreed with my viewpoint on the use of AAS, but as I said before, if she didn't, I wouldn't have continued my use. In contrast, if my circumstance was that of an aspiring bodybuilder who had a recent girlfriend that didn't agree with his use of AAS, I would have kicked her to the curb in a heartbeat!

My wife is fine with it. She really loves the results! I have spent time educating her on the truth about steroids so she gets it. I think women opposed to gear are suffering from the media spin on steroids. Also, I took some time getting past the injection part. Many people get freaked out on using needles - they relate it to all the bad stuff - aids, drugs, low life...ect ect. I walked my wife through sterile injection procedures and showed her this site showing proper technique. Now she injects me everytime and does a outstanding job.

i dont have a wife but ive been with my girl for more than a few years. she just hates when i take tren i get meanso ill stay away from that from now on
id rather be little and know i have this girl on my side for the rest of my life and be there for me do or die, paying half the rent electric etc, than be big and ripped and alone paying all of my own bills and sleeping in bed alone
but if you find the right girl for you then you wont have to choose. if your lifestyle is juicein and workin out then you gotta have a girl thats cool with your lifestyle.

Thats really close to how my experience went, except she doesn't inject me. She looks forward to my horny attitude. At first it was horrible, "do it and we're over" type thing. Needless to say I did it anyways, and after I revealed the truth, she was fine. She still thinks its a waste of money though lol.

gotta agree with the majority here in saying if someone can't accept me for who i am, they gotta go. if after explaining to them the truth about gear and debunking the myths in their minds they're still against it, i wouldn't want to be with someone that ignorant anyway.
luckily my girl has no problems with it. she gets laid more and i get bigger. everybody wins. as far as getting more aggressive, doesn't happen here. i've said it before but i'll say it again, gear will not make you aggressive. it all depends on the individual. just as some people drink and get aggressive and others get happy, it all depends on the person. but don't blame your anger issues on the gear cause that's the kind of thing that keeps it looking bad in the publics eye.
there shouldn't have to be any "sacrifices" to be made in regards to gear. that's like telling a woman she's no longer allowed to wear make-up. it's a means, nothing more. it's not an addiction (though to some it may be, but then again anything could really be an addiction), so i just don't see what place someone would have to make a big fuss about it?

my wife digs it. She loves what it does for me, my mood, my body, etc. My wife will sit there and watch a 4 hr Jay Cutler vid or a Ronnie vid with me. Pumping Iron is one of her favorite movies, she thinks Jay cutler is hot too(fine by me, hey at least I know she digs huge guys) She talks about AAS with me, she talks about my contest diet and gives her input too. My wife does not compete, or even train for that matter, but she loves what I do, loves watching me on stage, loves the attention I get when she's with me as if to say, he's mine ladies, sorry. at first my girl of two years was going to break up with me 4week into my cycle she helps with my injections, its funny how things change
