Anyone live or been to cancun.........

Yeah, the first time I went I sprained my ankle and had to go to a hospital and their were wild dogs roaming around, as well as people looking at you like a piece of meat. My ex girlfriend went out clubbing with her friends(I never go to Cancun with my GFs) and took the local bus back home and fell asleep. When she woke up she was alone in a secluded area and the bus driver tried to rape her. Another time the guy renting seadoos tried fondling her and showing his penis. Corruption is rampant so you have to be careful even the police. This is all in the vicinity of Cancun

There are some rough areas. I went to the flea market in cancun and I had a guy try to lure me down a dark alley way to do his sister. Not into hookers first of all, nevermind the group of guys with bats that were probably down there.

Do you guy know of any places to book a trip like this. The dates we are going are most likely march 10th-17th. We are trying to find the cheapest place possible but i know it hard to do for a trip like this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Blue bay getaway is a fun place..21 & over ONLY...adult oriented fun....crazy if you want but also a chill place if you want...not like hedonism but it is what you make of it..singels-couples...all kinds...I have been 2x & am going again in 4 weeks....7days with airfare-hotel--all inclusive....1200bux. thru apple vacations..they LOSE money on me between booze & food alone...

The oasis is the shit! Dont get caught in the pools late at night with a girl though the security will try an take you for everything you got. No joke They can be assholes. They made my buddy pay 400 cash he had no money left for the trip! They will try an arrest u for anything. Other than that awsome place to stay

Just go for your late night swims at the Grand Oasis not the Oasis.



Security is BS. 3 years ago when I went with 1 friend there was a bunch of guys(5-6) that we knew that went to the same University. They were jealous of us picking up and taking a late night swim with these two girls, mind you this is at 3-4 in the morning after the club. They were a little further down in the pool and saying sh#t. Finally my friend told them to STFU. All of a sudden this guy goes bezerk and a fight breaks out, something like 6-2. Anyways I remeber seeing 6-7 security guards just standing there not doing anything All that to say, secuirty is worthless

I'm not a big fan of Cancun but Playa Del Carmen is great. It's about 40 miles away from Cancun and it's the best of both worlds. There are some great clubs there and it's not all over developed and full of tourist traps. It is a big European vacation spot so the beaches are topless. There is a club there called the Blue Parrot that My friend and I went to every night and it was a blast.

I have also been to Playa Del Carmen and it is a beautiful place, and it is much less expensive than Cancun. The beach is nice and many people don't know about it so it's kind of like a hidden secret.
When i was there their were mostly couples though so i think for singles Cancun may be a better choice.

For singles looking for "fun" I'd stay at Oasis Cancun not Grand Oasis. Not only will you pay more but there is no action. All the action is at the Oasis. The only reason Id go to Grand is to eat, they have the best restaurant and for late night swims. I forget the number but the phase with the main hall and entrance is the place.

Went to the mayan riviera this year and spent some time in playa del carmen, I was very impressed. It still has an american influence but it had a more authentic mexican feel. We stayed at the Grand Palladium White Sands, huge resort and a little more relaxing atmosphere. You can relax and drink in the pool all day and at night you can take a 20 min ride into town and there's still plenty of places to party that are very comparable to cancun.
