the problem is that fascist riaa nazi's are sueing audiogalaxy. At first I thought that they just improved the filtering software, but it might be down. try typing in a self-produced band and see.
I have just been using morpheus instead, but unfortunately a few bands I wanted arent on there.

There is a copyright problem in which audiogalaxy has been facing all this while. Lately, the record companies had fought a victory battle to force audiogalaxy to stop free downloading of MP3s.

Imesh is what i use
its a program that will actually keep adding downloads to get you the best speed. morpheus sucks these days.
but warning imesh does use spam pop ups which does piss me off at times

WinMX is my choice. You can get movies, pictures and other files as well...

Yeah, AG is dead. They apparently signed a settlement agreement
with the Recording Artists yadda organization, effectively saying
the only way mp3's will be downloadable is if the artists themselves
individually approve of each song. AG was a great place to just get
music.

www.winmx.com
the only search tool you will ever need. Dont waste your time with kazaa, bearshare, imesh...it has been found that they auto install tiny programs that spam you with pop ups while your are online (now you know why you get a pop up at every site) Worst part is, even if you uninstall the main program, it leaves the little ones behind....go to cnet.com, there is a utility that hunts them down and removes them.
Hope this helps

How come ya'll don't use Morpheus. You have heard of Morpheus before right? They were joint with Kazaa, but then apparently, Kazaa had spy ware software including in their programs (watch the shit you do in your pc). So therefore, Morpheus packed it's bags and decided to go solo. Go and download it at www.morpheus.com
You can download ANYTHING. Software, music, movies, pictures, etc...
