Swimmers BUTT???? wtf???
so im hangin with sum girl friends....at a buds sisters bday party...
n when i walk in, their like WHOOOA look at bean, he gettin buff.. and start feelin me up in a funny way
anyway...the whole night, girls are slappin my ass, and squeezing it, and they all agree..that i have an ass, its a swimmers ass.... they say because its muscular on top, and the shirt doest pass it....WTF??? i even took my shorts off and started booty whippin em in the face...so it must be a positive term
anyways...my question..is this from romanian dead lifts?? squats??? what can cause this?? what can decrease it???
OH n how long would i want to cardio it up on the eliptical machine to get GOOD results..?? time wise/? i been wondering, cuz i usually walk 10 mins on incline, n hit eliptical (hot stepper) for 15 with 2 min cool down...curious thanxLast edited by boxingbean; 08-01-2006 at 01:42 PM.

its from squats bro, probably a little from deadlifts too. Dont sweat it, your legs will grow too, along with your upper body as well. It's not like your ass is going to grow and nothing else will. Cardio will help it go down a little, but it's muscle man, just deal with it and keep letting chicks grab it. I think my ass is huge ,but girls love it

I used to break paralel for a number of years, thats what caused most of it, but now I stop right about paralel or just above to keep constant tension on my quads rather than stress on my knees and using all glute strength to come out of the hole. I think squats are like 40% glutes or something. I dont do them every week anymore either, alot more hacks, leg presses and front squats now.

Lots has to do with genetics. I feel moderate-low BF with muscular "buttocks" really gives a tight ass look. Combine that with what you are wearing and the ass slapping shall commence

so if its squats...and a lil bit of romanians...what IYO, would be the BEST to keep this muscle..hell...maybe even make it more shredded??
i currently work my legs and ass like so
squat machine.....1 warmup at 180...(sit all way down n hold for few seconds) then 3x 270, 360, 360, cool down at 180 (sit down n hold)
Leg Extensions 3x same weight
Calves 3x same weight
hamstring curls 3x same weigth
Leg press warmup 135, 3x 180, 270, 270, 135 cooldown...

It will slowly diminish due to a lack of stimulation, as would any other muscle. Also eliminiate any ab/aductor exercises as they directly work the upper outter hip which contributes to the glutes.
You'll be back to your old flat butted self in no time.
