    Hardcore Life....

    After almost 4 years of being simply a viewer of this wonderful world we call A-R. I was given a push to finally join this community by a few ppl that mean a lot to me. I know about all the drama over the years and figure we need to get back to why most of us came here in the first place. This is a sanctuary where our lifestyle is accepted and allowed to flourish.I've decided to begin with with a journal of sorts. (anyone who follows the animal pak articles can relate) This is with the intention, to provide a thought provoking thread, and maybe even inspire a few. I will update this journal of sorts as often as I can. To some they may be ramblings but to others that live the life I'm sure you will be able to relate......

    Entry #1

    The spoon hits the bottom of your cup with a thud.
    At this time in the morning, 530am, it could have been mistaken for a gun
    shot. It cuts the silence.
    It seems to echo again, but only in your mind, for there is no one else
    around to hear it.
    You stand alone in you kitchen, but one single stove light illuminates
    your solitude.Your mind has now reached an impasse, almost as if in battle with ones self.The bad guys remind you of when a somber sleep was so much more appealing.
    Your head nods forward and your eyes seems to fixate on the veins in your
    forearm now popping out of your skin, its a suitable reminder from the good guys.
    This is why the blood runs through you.
    Your here for one purpose, so stop pussyfooting around and get to it.
    Each moment of contemplation is better spent as a single step on the
    treadmill during AM cardio.
    This is a journey that self pity has no place in.
    With a firm hand, you tightly grasp the spoon and move it clockwise. The
    water seems to engulf the BCAA's, as they dissolve they take with them
    your moment of weakness.

    This is going to be an amazing log for all of the hardcore people around here who can relate. For some reason when you know you arent the only one who does what you do it makes it all that much better.

    Glad you finally decided to sign up. So many people can benefit from your experience here.

    It's gonna be really good man. Something totally different but nice for this site that people can look forward to and relate with.

    Your mind screams at you.....just one more rep.
    Your body has other thoughts.
    Thoughts of the lactic acid building up in your quads.It burns so bad it feels
    as though acid is seeping through your pours, trying to rupture right through your skin. The pain is so intense now it has created a seemingly impenetrable barrier. A wall so tall no one can scale it. A pain so deep you will surely drown.....but just one more rep.
    This is the type of pain only a bar-bending set can bring.
    A long standing saying amongst bodybuilders is "PAIN IS WEAKNESS LEAVING YOUR BODY" You must not only understand this statement but you yourself must transcend it.
    That is why your lower your body again, ass to the floor. You embrace the pain and accept it for what it is, simply a mental barrier, nothing more.
    You will indeed climb, you will not drown, you are not weak and you will indeed do .....just one more rep.

    Thanks bro. It took some coaxing to get him aboard as he is a very busy guy. But his knowledge is going to benefit everyone, there is no doubt.

    Entry #3, is probably one of the best thing i have ever read, it sums up what people dont understand and why we do it all at the same time...by far the best post i have seen on this board in the year i have been on...i want to tatoo that on my back, and use it in my signature...well done, man...
