I would like to know as well...I have been looking into studying for my C.S.C.S. over the next year and I have been curious as to what fields you can get into with that. I have always been interested in opening a rehabilitation clinic.

To work in a rehab you have to be certified for that. There is a physical therapist assistant cert also. Most school aren't going to hire a personal trainer as a trainer. Granted there are very knowledgeable personal trainers out there and no offence to them. But its easy as shit to get a pt cert and people in the field know that. That's why it really doesn't mean much.

usually to work w/ kids in a high school or people in a clinic they are going to want some type of degree as well as certification. I was training for awhile, but I had trouble getting clients because they thought I was too pricey. Sorry, but my knowledge is worth more than what the sticks at Golds gym get paid

Word ! theres not even a gold gym were i live man, but there are like 2-3 personal training studios, but there never fuggin hiering im looking for something long term ya know. and as far as phys/therapy goes you can either be a physical therapist or a PTA which is a phys/therapist/assistant which makes about 50-60K a year and that is a two year degree so its not a bad gig, which means i gotta go back to school.
easier said than done.

well yeah you can work there as a Tech and make like 10bucks an hr..
but iv been told by a few phys/therapist that doctors and sport rehab clinics hire physical trianers instead of phys/therapist because its cheaper the doctors dont have to pay as much so they hire us instead. im gonna start looking into this.

oh ok...i take it you are a certified pt? Have you looked into C.S.C.S. this is supposed to be a bit more prestigious and can open doors to working in pro athletics and alike.
