    Largest Muscle??

    Okay this may sound like a stupid question but I'm finding different answers everywhere about What is the largest muscle of your body?
    I've even looked it up in encyclopedia's and dictionaries and I'm finding different answers every time mostly just the glutius maximus, the muscles in your back and your quad's. So if someone knows for sure the largest muscle could you please let me know!

    Do you want to know which muscle group (i.e. Quads) or which individual muscle (i.e. Rectus Femoris, Vastus Lateralis, Vastus Intermedius, Vastus Medialis)?

    The gluteus maximus is the largest individual muscle. Other muscles may seem bigger but they're actually divided into smaller individual muscles.
