    VERY Quick PO Box Question..

I read ONE reply in ONE topic of all the PO Box info I've been looking into that said when you go to register for a PO Box, you give all the information and then they send a 'confirmation letter' to your HOUSE address.

I HIGHLY doubt this, because what if you're going to college 10 states away from home? You don't really have another address until you get moved in to your dorm and everything.

Anyway, in one word, yes or no: Does the Post Office send a 'confirmation letter' to the address on your IDs? Anyone with a PO Box, let me know.

You would have to let them know in advance what address to send the confirmation letter to. The will send it where ever you want them to.

And you know for CERTAIN there is a confirmation letter?

Or are you saying it hpothetically, like- IF they required an address to send the letter to, you'd have to move into your college dorm FIRST, THEN get them the address for a confirmation letter?

Cool cool, that's what I thought happened and that's what most other bro's said. Thanks for the help.

Anyone else care to comment? Just looking for a LITTLE more feedback before I go ahead and grab one.

UPS doesn't ask, but you still have to provide two IDs (state ID and work/university ID).

last week I opened a PMB (private mail box) at a UPS store for a LLC (limited liability corporation) I recently set up. They required two forms of ID, when I explained that I had only my driver's license, the employee told me to grab my vehicle registration. I think it would be very easy to acquire one of these boxes with "home made" documents.

Ok, so it was 99% likely that that was false information or something out of the ordinary happened.

Anyway, I'm all cool with the two forms of ID, they'll be real too. I don't have any reason to forge/fake them because I trust my source 200% (<most important thing in this game)...

My question is: What's the 2nd form of ID? Obviously driver's license, but what else? Vehicle registration? Any other ideas?
