Are cigars uber bad for you?
I've been enjoying a cigar about once a week..... is there any real danger here you think? Anyone else smoke cigars?

depends on what you call real danger. you are increasing your odds of oropharyngeal cancer, periodontal disease and tooth decay.

Arturo Fuentes is one of the best in the market from Dominican Republic.
Arturo and his son has many fields rents for tabaco productios in "Republica Dominicana"
I love Fuentes Fuentes, is like a robusto size....realy good.
I also love Partagas from Dominican Republic,exelent...i stop buying Partagas from Cuba cuz when Fidel Castro took over in Cuba and beat Batista he took control of Raul Sifuentes and many, if not all tabaco production in Cuba,Raul finaly went to Dominican Republic where he keep his production till he die.
Partagas still in production today...Raul never step in cuban soil ever...Last edited by LatinoPR; 08-20-2006 at 09:59 PM.

Well I usally just go with gas stations i.e. Garcia Vega's and Backwoods.... but I was just at a cigar shop and bought one called "Acid" which was $8.. and one that $4 that began with a T (forget the name) and it was blueberry dipped in vanilla and laced with some liquior.. it was like, Tahittiny or something

I've had a few cuban, always thought they were over rated, just cause you can't get them here, that's what hypes them up

And yes....im agree, cuban cigars are exelent, but Republica Dominicana has even better cigars than Cuba,..example..."Arturo Fuentes" and Partagas.Last edited by LatinoPR; 08-20-2006 at 07:09 PM.

I wanted to quit smoking, so I switched to cigars, then I started inhaling them, and buying about 10 big cheap cigars everyday and inhale the shit out of them, then a box of swishers and Id keep smoking them like cigarettes, even chain smoking them
Moral of the story: Nicotine is DAMN addictive
I wish I could smoke cigars, but If I do Ill start smoking again.
I liked anything without flavour and extremly heavy.....with some whisky

I love cigars. It's never had any bad effect on my physique or workouts. Hell, I mean Arnold has smoked them for years. Your just blowing the smoke, not like your inhaling them or anything. CAO's are good, but go for the brazillian ones w/ the green and yellow ring, much, much better. Some of my other favorites include Avo Uvesian #2(I'm almost positive it's the #2, it has a dull orange ring on it, runs about $9) Onyx Reserves, they're on the cheaper side but you cant go wrong with them (it has a 92 rating from Cigar Aficiando, run you about $5.50) Acids are awesome, you made a wise choice right there!! An absolute killer, killer smoke that you would love is a Rocky Patel. They make one called "The Edge" and another called the "vintage" both are excellent, The Edge is a little stronger, the vintage is more mild, but more pricey. Oh yeah, and they have a sungrown one but it has a spicey taste to it that I dont really care for. **** it, I'm a cigar man all the way.
