twisted lumbar region of spine- wrestling (was a massive hindrance for around 8 months. is fine and dandy now. occasional 'lock-up' in the area)
severe bursitis in both shoulders- wrestling (fine now)
damaged AC joint, left shoulder- suffered initial injury in the gym, then further damage done wrestling (had arthroscopic surgery on this in march 2004, is great now, thanks doc)
strained right ankle, submission wrestling 2002 (very rarely i get stiffness in the ankle area. not had it for around a year though)
right now, am doing ok, no serious ailments or injuries to report (touch wood) although whilst squatting about 2-3 months ago, my right kneecap suddenly caused me alot of pain. this has not improved, altho tends to be fine, until leg day. i invested in knee wraps which helped at first, but not much anymore. and have started taking cod liver oil and calcium tablets again.
another thing i occasionally suffer with is extreme pain in the forearm area. seems to usually be in the right arm. this lasts around 2 weeks, regardless of whether i take time off the gym or not. then goes completely. i believe it is inflammation of the tendons, but never got it checkedLast edited by Timm1704; 08-24-2006 at 06:11 PM.

Tendonitis in left shoulder....
To be honest my joints are very sketchy...A few years back I got bit by a tick that was embedded in my skin. About 3 weeks later I developed problems in EVERY joint in my body.. ankles..knees..wrists...elbows(could not straighten my arms)..and neck... I then got tested for everything under the sun, the first of course being LYMES disease, which was negative, then Rheumatoid arthritis and about 30 other things I couldnt pronounce. I was getting blood tests, xrays, and etc for weeks...The doctor finally concluded it was a "virus" that had gotten into my joints and it would pass in time. It took about 3 months before it passed and after that I tried to begin lifting again, and my joints felt like they were gonna fall apart. About 6 months after that point I was finally able to weight train again. However to this day I still think it has some effect as I have to be very careful when going heavy about my joints, especially my wrists...

Injured myself three days ago, the foot/ankle:
I was working with the lumber and walked up in the pile of lumber to fetch a pretty big log. As I was walking with the log in my arms I get ready to throw it away, a couple of feet forward and the damn logs under my feet starts rolling, so I fall down and my ankle is twisted with my own weight and that of the big log I was holding.
Advice?
Don't climb into a pile of wooden logs wearing those crazy dutch wodden shoes. Yeah, clogs, that's it!
That's a Swedish model though.

still not 100% but much better. It has been just about 8 weeks now. I does piss me off because it had to happen when i went on pct. So i lot a lot from my cycle. I think i should be 100% in the next few weeks. I have not been pushing to much but still working it. When my bicep is better and my blood works comes back OK. I will be ready for my new cycle.
