Got my dog on gear :(
I seen that it started to rain.. i went to the glass door to let him in and he was walking with his front legs and his back legs were dragging on the floor.. my heart dropped and i picked him up and drove the the vet and it turns out he has a slipped disk or bad hips... he is a 2year old english bull dog. the little guy was 5 weeks when i bought him... he costs a Shit load but i was playing with him since he was 4 weeks so i feel in love.. anyway the vet said that they were going to put him on Prednisone 15mgs for 3 days then 10 mgs for 3 days then 1 tab every other day till it is gone
sides
hunger way up
panting
drooling
more energy
will drink and piss A LOT
and a ton of other things i did not understand
i love this dog he is like a family member he sleeps on his pad next to my bed and follows me everywhere i go...
HE HAS never ever had this prob then they told me it was going to cost 5,000$+ to fix his hips or put him down if the roids don't work so now i am going nuts... he jump on my bed all the time and he can jump almost 4 feet high he RUNs with me and sprints everywhere i go so i don't know why this JUSt happened. he ****ed up my sat but i don't care i will stay home with him for a few days and feed the shit outta him...

Hope your dog recovers.

Sorry to hear about that man. I have a black lab and she is starting to get pretty old. The has arthritis in her legs and you can tell it bothers her because she will be shaking sometimes or she cant always jump up on the couch with me. It sucks because dogs become a part of you family and i hate seeing or hearing about them having problems. Good luck though and i hope your dog gets better man.

Get him those doggy stairs so he wont jump up and off of the bed/couch/etc...
My girl got them for her dog and it took her a while to figure out how to use them, but now she uses them every time. It'll keep your dog from hurting his joints and hips.

Good luck mate. I have an English bull terrier with hip problems/arthritis. He takes glucosamine/chrondroitin. It has worked wonders for him. He is like a different dog now.

I cryed for days she was a family member ....... also go to where you got your dog .... the breeder we used help pay for the surgery and also offered another dog but i declined some breeders stand behind there breed and some times this happens with breeds but the drugs seems to just prolong there pain BRO .... but i feel for you and the surgery does work .........
