AR changes and changes, Is Lion Afilliated with AR at all.

I pop in every now and then. I guess this forum is becoming more of a business to sell products. I know that sites need funding and even with lion that was a need of funding... I for one am a member that was here before most of that...

Not to bash any of you guys with like 5k posts but I always think from time to time wow I signed up in 02, I talk a bit of crap now and then... but I remain more substance with most of my posts... In that, Do these guys (not all of you tar head blokes)... but do these guys even know how AR use to be??????

I feel that most of the members I have relied on here on AR post with much more substance... I hope I have given back in the same way...

My statement means this.... to those that are new and post with little info, help or substance in regard to AAS yet have 8k, 5k posts... have no idea what Ar use to be like...

I know what he's talking about though. AR back in 2002 was a different community than it is now. Personally I prefer the old AR (2002-2003) to the new AR. Doesnt make this a bad board, just a different board.

The selling side is new to me... I have now tried three different products but they where from Lion... As a consumer to switch makers without giving the consumer the choice of deciding is not good... CAn I still get IGF from Lion here or not, ya know....

But do you mean you can get those prods cheaper some where else??/

Post count dont mean shit. You can have 5 or 50k and still not know what your talking about. you have to keep in mind A.R is much larger now as well. It a small community of it's own. people are here for all kinds a reasons not just AAS knowledge.

Well it would make sense that the members you rely on or look forward to for info would be the ones you think are the best.

And some of them have 5k+ and were alot of help, some of them are not.

Not everyone on here is going to be a steroid guru, alot of people come here for diff reasons, I do little in the steroid forum ,if anything(because I dont use steroids and have very lil info about em).

Mostly in the Diet/exercise/workout forum, and I have almost stopped answering anything there due to people's repitition, not doing any research, stupid questions, PARROTING, etc......

AR is a bussiness, everything is, if there is no gain from anything it wont be there.

Things never are the same, times always changing, maybe the atmoshphere is different, the people are, but we're still good ya know?? :wg:

Yes but even back that you had post whors. You just need to know who is knowledgeable and who is not. For the mast part the staff try and make sure everyone get accurate information. Keep in mind everyone has some kind of info to off. Every little pice will equal a lot at the end.

The form being run as a business it the only way to insure it's future. Founds and backing need to come from some were and i ant going to pay for it. But i will help out and do my party to matinee it.

Yeah I agree the 'substance' substance ratio is really what we're after and I think the board used to have much more of it. The ratio I am talking about is x:y when x equals the amount of active users on the board and y equals the quality/substance of the posts.

Mind you that AR is still a board with more substance than 90% of what's out there.

It just used to be its own elite community that was truly in a class of its own. But with growth must come change.
