    What kind of rig(pc) is everyone using at home?

    Ok spill it what kind of monster machines do we have out there and who is still chugging along on a P3 or gasp a PII.

    I'll go first.

    Custom built AMD Athlon x2 64 4400, 3GB ram, over 400GB Drive space, XFX GeForce 7800GT(plays everything) running windows 3.1 .

    I love it. There's not a single thing I would change. Since you have a nice desktop you should get a MacBook to travel with. Have you checked them out?

    I bought 3 external HDs to go with it. I have an extra 800 gigs of storage to back up software, music, HDTV movies, porn. You name it I have space for it.

    No problems with the 17". When the 15" first came out they ran hot but Apple fixed it with a firmware upgrade.

    I think it's just a speed bump. Intel came out with faster processors.

    I had purchased a powerbook pre-intel chips so I'm still regretfully using it.
    I'm gonna wait for the next gen anyways. They are so slick.

    The biggest benefit for buying a Mac is the fact it can run either Windows or Mac OS X. Why buy one PC laptop when you can get 2 OSes for the price of one???

    160gb drive
    256mb video card ofcourse pci .
    windows mce.

    I edited Nark's posing video for him. I did it in Final Cut Pro. Honestly, it took me about 10 minutes to do. He told me he was messing around on his PC for 2 hours trying to do it.

    my buddy has an exact duplicate of mine and spent around 1500+ building it, i went the Ebay route and did it all for just under 1100.
